Beam Tailoring Devices Using Transmission-Type Subwavelength Grating

Subwavelength gratings (SWGs) possess an excellent ability to manipulate the wavefronts of light waves. We investigated beam tailoring mechanism aperiodic SWGs in our current work, and a bifocal lens, splitter, combiner based on transmission-type one-dimensional are presented simulated here. By designing grating nanobar parameters meet predetermined phase shift profile diffraction light, desired steering is accurately achieved for three devices while maintaining high transmissivity. All results show good agreement with theoretical predictions.
